It seems as though Thanksgiving fades more and more each year. It is so sad to me because there is always more room for mankind to be more Grateful and show more Thanksgiving. This year we did a Thanksgiving tree and each night all of us would say something we were grateful for and put it on the tree. It helped us all remember that even the little things were true blessings from our Heavenly Father. I was real proud of the boys for some of their answers. We also were able to celebrate Thanksgiving with family this year, which is the first time in 10 years. We went to Daniels brothers house (who is the only other family in Texas), my in-laws were visiting them and then two of Daniels sisters came from Kentucky. We had a great time visiting. The kids put on a Thanksgiving Play, we met two new nieces, we ate, we played and just hung out. The cousins were fun to watch as they played from morning til night, only stopping to eat.

Our last night together we went to a local park to see the Festival of Lights. It was a perfect night and a great way to start the Christmas season. Thanks to all of the Zaehringers for a wonderful and memorable time.

That was a neat idea for the tree. The tree can really grow in a hurry. Lots to be thankful for.
