Well, my boys made it through the first week of school. Daniel entered the third grade and Lendl started Kindergarten. Hard to believe...I know. Daddy came home to see the boys off to school and it was nice to have him here. I know it meant a lot to the boys. The first week was great. Daniel is getting back in the groove and Lendl has surprised me with how well he has adjusted. Here are a few pictures of their first day, 8.23.10.

Lendl's teacher wasted no time putting them to work. He jumped right in! I love his teacher and he seems to have a really good class including several siblings from Daniels grade.
Naturally we had to have lunch with our boys on the first day. I am surprised that Lendl did not ask for daddy to sit next to him. I'll take what I can get. Of course Daniel HAD to be next to daddy. All the kids asked Mr. Daniel about his beard. Mr. Daniel has always gone into the classroom to read to the kids since little Daniel was in Kindergarten so ALL of the kids know him. Even with him gone all this time, he lit up their faces. I, on the other hand, have eaten with little Daniel once a week for 3 years and I am known as Daniels mom. That's okay...I know that I married a great guy!
There is 30 minutes between the boys lunches so we went out to let Brigham play in between. My lunch days with the boys will be much longer this year but worth it.
He is such a big boy! I have been enjoying my time at home with Brigham. It is amazing how long his nap time has increased since the house is quiet during the day. He does miss his brothers though, and when I pick them up, Brigham follows them around and just wants to be with the boys.
